International round-up: new signings shine for SpainNegredo scores in 2-0 win over Finland

New City signings Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo combined well to seal Spain's 2-0 win against Finland on Friday evening. Having both come on as substitutes, Navas broke clear on the right, and his pinpoint cross was converted by Negredo for his third goal in as many games.

David Silva and Javi Garcia were both unused substitutes, and Silva has now returned to Manchester as a precautionary measure following a slight muscular problem.

Elsewhere, Yaya Toure played the full ninety minutes as the Ivory Coast drew 1-1 with Moroco, whilst Matija Nastasic and Aleksandar Kolarov both played as Serbia drew 1-1 with fierce rivals Croatia, a result that ended Serbia's chances of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.

Joe Hart kept a clean sheet for England, with James Milner appearing as a late substitute. Edin Dzeko's Bosnia-Herzegovina surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to Slovakia, and Samir Nasri made a substitue appearance as France drew 0-0 in Georgia. Gael Clichy was an unused substitute.
