A few of my mates are in a band and have recently done a bit of recording at the Moulin Rouge studio. Turns out Doves have recorded and mixed their new album at the same studio and one of my mates was told by the producer that they've also done a choral version of 'Blue Moon' for City to run out to in the future. He wasn't told when this would be but reckons it will most likely be ready in time for next season.

Sounds great to me and although I'm a fan of the team coming out to 'Spread Your Love' I think it'd be better for us to have something more unique and personal. I'm sure Doves won't let us down.

If thats true mate, bring it on.

They are very talented band and i agree, they wont let us down if they are given the job.

It's funny that, i was thinking the other day we needed to come out to Bluemoon yet the versions out there aren't acceptable for "enetering the field" and wouldn't it be great it Oasis or someone did a good cover.

I love Spread your Love, think it is a great song to come out to but i would like us to come out to our anthem as we are unique in that we are one of the few clubs who has a unique anthem.

Great news!
