I'd forgotten they were playing, hope they lose but not that fussed about it tbh as it doesn't affect City's position.

Anyone else like me and feels that the Community Shield is only worth playing in because it means you won something meaningful the previous season? If we did get there I doubt I'd want to pay Wembley's prices to watch a glorified friendly.

Stupid thing is; the rags lose and its a meaningless "mickey mouse" trophy. But if they win, wow! they're on about its the first of 6 and all that crap, its the best trophy ever! fickle bstards!
