City to face Liverpool in Carabao Cup Fourth Round

Game will be played at the Etihad Stadium just days after the World Cup Final in Qatar

City will face Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in the Carabao Cup Fourth Round, following the draw on Thursday evening.

The Blues defeated Chelsea 2-0 in the previous round, whilst Jurgen Klopp's side required penalties to see off League One team Derby County.

The two sides last met in the competition in the 2016 final, when City lifted the trophy after a penalty shoot-out.

The game will be played on the week commencing 19th December, just days after the World Cup final in Qatar and before the return of the Premier League on Boxing Day.
