Fabian Delph joins Everton in £10m dealEngland international signs three year deal at Goodison

Fabian Delph has joined Everton on a three-year contract, in a deal believed to be worth £10m. The Toffees will pay an inital £8.5m up-front, with a further £1.5m due in add-ons.

The 29-year-old made 89 appearances in total for the club, scoring 5 goals, and excelled in the 2017/18 title winning campaign, filling in as an emergency left-back.

He won two league titles, two League Cups, an FA Cup and the Charity Shield during his time with the Blues, but with one year remaining on his contract decided to seek regular football at Goodison Park. The re-signing of Aneglino and the emergence of Oleksandr Zinchenko meant that Delph's opportunities were likely to be limited this season.

“I am extremely proud to have played for Manchester City and of what I have achieved here,” Delph said.

“I joined the Club with the aim of winning trophies and I am delighted I have been able to do that whilst playing alongside a fantastic group of players.

“I would like to thank all my team-mates, the staff and the fans for their support and I wish the Club all the best for the future.”
