City to face Preston North End in Carabao Cup

Third round tie to be played at Deepdale as Blues look to defend their trophy

City will face Preston North End in the third round of the Carabao Cup, following last night's draw. The tie will be played at Deepdale in the week beginning 23rd September.

The Lilywhites knocked out Hull City after a penalty shoot-out in the previous round. City will look to continue their fine form in the competition, haviung won it in four of the previous six seasons.
